Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our pest control services.
Are your treatments safe for pets and children?▼
We use Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques that target the pest specifically while minimizing exposure to people and pets. For treatments that require vacating the space (such as heat treatment), we provide clear re-entry protocols so your household stays safe. We don't claim any treatment is '100% safe' — we tell you exactly what to do and when it's fine to return.
How much does pest control cost?▼
Our services start at $295. The final price depends on the pest, the size and condition of the property, and the scope of the work — a single wasp nest is different from full wildlife exclusion with sealing. We give you a firm quote after the inspection, with no surprise charges added later.
Do you offer a warranty?▼
Yes. Pest treatments come with a service warranty whose length depends on the pest, and any sealing or exclusion work is backed by our 5-year warranty. If covered pests return within the warranty period, we come back and re-treat at no additional cost.
How quickly can you get here?▼
We offer same-day and next-day service across most of the GTA, from Oakville to Oshawa. For urgent situations we have a 24/7 emergency line. Call us and we'll give you a straight answer on the next available appointment for your area.
What areas do you serve?▼
We're based in Toronto and serve the Greater Toronto Area, from Oakville in the west to Oshawa in the east, including Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Pickering, Ajax, and Whitby.
Do you remove raccoons without hurting them?▼
Yes. We use one-way doors that let the animal leave your attic or deck on its own but prevent it from getting back in, then we seal the entry point. We do not use leg-hold traps or poisons for wildlife. During spring and summer we check for babies first so a nursing mother is never separated from her young.
Are raccoons protected in Ontario?▼
Yes. Raccoons are protected under Ontario's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act. A trapped or relocated raccoon must be released within 1 km of where it was caught and within 24 hours, and a nursing female cannot be separated from her dependent young. This is one of the main reasons we use humane one-way exclusion instead of trapping and relocating — it keeps the animal's movement on its own terms and stays within the law.
How long does a bed bug heat treatment take?▼
Most heat treatments are completed in a single day. The room is brought up to a lethal temperature and held there long enough for the heat to penetrate furniture and wall voids and kill bed bugs and their eggs at every life stage. You vacate for the day and can return that evening once the space has cooled to a comfortable temperature.
Do you treat pests in condos and apartments?▼
Yes. In multi-unit buildings, pests like bed bugs and cockroaches travel between suites through shared walls, plumbing chases, and electrical conduit, so treating one unit in isolation often isn't enough. We can coordinate with property managers on a building-wide approach that addresses the actual spread pathways. Service can also be arranged discreetly.
How do I prepare for a bed bug treatment?▼
Proper preparation is what makes the treatment work. Generally you'll declutter floors, wash bedding in hot water, and move furniture away from walls so the heat reaches everywhere it needs to. We provide a detailed prep checklist before we arrive.
